A significant aspect of the endowment is that the individual donations have long term impact. They provide an alternative means of honoring or recognizing an individual or group. Gifts have been made to observe marriages, anniversaries, birthdays, retirements and the passing of a loved one.

A special fund whereby only the interest/profits from fund can be used for scholarships. The principal must remain in the fund to provide more interest/profits continuously for future scholarships.

Originally established to memorialize loved ones. Since then, many organizations as well as individuals and businesses have donated to the fund.

$500 donation recognized on plaque at Shakopee High School. If desired, $100 payments can be made over a five year period to complete the pledge.

Can be designated as a beneficiary of a will, trust, investment or insurance policy.

$5,000 donation provides a scholarship that will awarded annually in an honoree's name.
